We have managed to deliver some ranges ahead of schedule and are behind schedule on others. If you're in that latter group, thank you for your patience.

If you live close to the following major metropolitan areas where our partner installers provide full-service installation — Boston, MA, Portland, OR, Los Angeles, CA, Northern California Chicago, IL, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Seattle, WA — there's a chance they can install your Charlie. The best way to check is to engage them directly.

Installation costs vary depending on location, flights of stairs, difficulty of installation, and gas capping. 

Please note that Charlie cannot be purchased through installers. You can place an order here.

Push the oven knob in and turn and hold (or turn and pulse) counterclockwise to change the display brightness. Brightness can be adjusted from completely off to full brightness.

If you need to finish a meal, you can try resetting your range:

Set all knobs to "Off"

On the right side of your dash press and hold the convection fan switch for 7 seconds

Release and immediately press and hold the convection fan switch again for 7 seconds. Your device will reset.

If the error screen returns, please do not reset the range again.

Head to this page to download the Copper Connect app and follow the in-app instructions to reconnect your range.

In addition to the convection fan, there are a couple of other fans in Chalie’s system.

One fan helps keep the battery charger cool while it is charging, and another cools the space between the cooktop and the oven. Temperature sensors control both fans, automatically turning them on until the temperature drops to a cool-enough level, at which point they shut off.

This automatic cycling may take some time to get used to, but you can think of it like your refrigerator, which also works to maintain the proper temperature.
