  • Our app is currently for WiFi connection only. It helps us provide support by connecting your range to WiFi. 
  • Wood fixtures ship separately and don't come with your Charlie initially. We'll email you with tracking info when they're on the way.
  • Estimated shipping timing varies by date of purchase and shipment method. Check your 'Thanks and welcome to Copper' email for your estimated ship date.
  • Our standard charging window is 9am-4pm to take advantage of when electricity is cheapest. Contact us if you’d like to change your window.

FAQs

What sizes and outputs are the induction cooking zones?

The cooktop features four, symmetrical 7.9-inch, 2.6 kW high-power cooking zones.

From a shape and size perspective, as long as your pans have a flat bottom and are greater than 4 1/3" in diameter, they will work. To test for compatibility, place a magnet on the bottom of your pan. The stronger the magnet sticks, the better the cookware will work with induction.

Cast iron, enameled cast iron, and many types of stainless-steel cookware are all induction-compatible.

Aluminum, copper, and glass cookware will not heat up or turn on unless it has a magnetic metal layer at the bottom.

How durable is the cooktop's surface?

The cooktop is made of durable glass-ceramic composite and is very robust.

If are using cast iron cookware that was frequently used on a gas cooktop or range, hard residue may have accumulated on the bottoms that could pose a scratch risk.

Best practice: Scrub the bottoms of any cookware thoroughly before first use on induction. Then, slide your fingertip over the bottom surface to feel for any hardened ingredients from meals past that could scratch your cooktop. Scrub again if needed.

How long does the battery last?
