"The best booth I saw at CES!"

The Copper team recently returned home after spending a jam-packed week at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), showing and telling the masses about Charlie.

Among all the visitors to our booth, a personal highlight was hosting Lisa McManus of America’s Test Kitchen, who was seriously wowed by Charlie and our chef Lisa Pinckney’s pecan pie. Lisa M. has plenty of fans on the Copper team, so to hear her say, “This is the best booth at CES!” was an outstanding moment. Check out her latest Gear Heads episode here.

It was also great to hang out with Michael Wolf of The Spoon and speak on a panel he moderated about trends in food and kitchen tech. While I’m not bringing all of the gadgets I saw into my kitchen, it was further proof that electric is just plain better than gas — not only for being more powerful, clean, and precise, but also for enabling people to cook exactly how they want to. Even silverware is going electric! I saw a spoon that uses a mild electric current to enhance the flavor of food...

But the best part of going away for a few days was seeing the rest of the Copper team kick into high gear and keep our momentum going. Ranges continue to roll off the production line and customers continue to welcome Charlies into their homes. Thanks to everyone who’s helped make this possible.
